Leaders for Positive Growth

Destiny SSM is directed and guided by a non-political group of proactive community economic development leaders.  The Steering Committee includes representatives from the following organizations:
  • Algoma University;
  • Algoma Workforce Investment Corporation;
  • City of Sault Ste. Marie;
  • Community Development Corporation of Sault Ste. Marie & Area;
  • Community Member at Large;
  • Sault College;
  • Sault College Employment Solutions;
  • Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce;
  • Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation; and
  • Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.

The Destiny SSM resource members organizations are:

  • FedNor - Industry Canada;
  • Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines; and
  • Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

It is only through this collaborative partnership that leadership, successful implementation and constant monitoring exists.  This group of people and organizations are making a shared and positive future a reality.
